Our Story
RLR Human Capital Consulting was founded by Ronald Rydell, an accomplished Human Resources Executive with over two decades of experience leading transformational talent and organizational strategies. With a career spanning Fortune 500 corporations and high-growth companies in industries such as sports, manufacturing, and insurance, Ronald brings a rare combination of strategic insight, operational expertise, and emotional intelligence to every engagement.
At the heart of RLR Human Capital Consulting is a passion for developing people, strengthening culture, and helping organizations thrive by aligning their talent strategies with business goals. Ronald has a proven track record of building HR functions from the ground up—having led this charge in eight organizations—and has consistently designed and executed high-impact initiatives in leadership development, cultural transformation, performance management, and organizational design.

About Ronald L. Rydell
Ronald has led human capital initiatives across Fortune 500 corporations and high-growth companies in industries including sports, manufacturing, and insurance. As a trusted advisor to executive teams, he has a track record of aligning people strategies with business goals—boosting engagement, accelerating performance, and supporting sustainable growth.
Ronald holds a Strategic Human Resources Leadership Certificate from Cornell University and is certified in a range of areas including emotional intelligence, leadership coaching, DiSC communication, and DDI leadership training. Known for his collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, he has served as a strategic advisor to executive teams and a hands-on coach to emerging leaders.
Throughout his career, he has:
- Established HR functions in eight organizations from the ground up
- Led cultural transformation, leadership development, and performance management initiatives
- Designed and launched the Leadership Development Program for the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball
- Delivered Emotional Intelligence training to the Boston Red Sox and the University of Delaware’s leadership program
